Endorsement areas for the Alternative Licensure

Teacher Candidates can choose ONE endorsement during their TILA program.

TILA can also work with candidates who currently have an initial or professional license in any level or subject area to add the Special Education Generalist endorsement to their license.

K-12 Endorsements:

* Candidates for Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and Special Education should have broad liberal arts preparation in the content areas of Science, Social Studies, Math and English.

** Candidates for Instructional Technology should send very detailed information regarding competencies in programming, networks, Internet programming, operating systems and other technical knowledge.
